.NET & .NET core architect and lead dev – August 2021 – Current

I redesigned an existing API for aggregating customer data from multiple sources, based on .NET5, CQRS, and event-based architecture. Designed for high scalability and split into microservices, the architecture follows clean and event-driven principles. I also introduced full code integration tests to run on real data.

Implemented a software component for a POS system for storing and outputting SAF-T reports, using MitId and digital signature. The customer needed the implementation fast, and i suceceded in delivering a good solution for the client, in an optimal manner, still adhering to good software practices, and good software design.

Saxo Bank

I have created a new micro service architecture for use with regulatory reporting. The services are highly scalable, working with Kubernetes in AKS. Automated deployments procedures, clean architecture, Currently, the POC is working with the Mifid II reporting and some other smaller reports in Saxo. I have coached the developers in integration testing their old Monolith, to be able to port their software to the new architecture. Helped with porting their Mifid II reporting from one provider to the other with very tight deadlines. Integration from cloud to elastic, Prometheus, DynaTrace, and AKS. Working with Jetbrains tools, such as PyCharm, Rider & Datagrip.

NETS Danmark

I participated in developing the new NemId solution for Denmark, called MitId. More specifically I worked on the part of the solution responsible for corporate ids and the rights and roles associated with this. A large focus on integration with numerous systems, as this tech is widely used in Denmark, and has a wide user base. Worked with the integration to the SAML systems, creating the SAML provider which was to be used as the backend for the system. Working with Jetbrains tools, such as PyCharm, Rider & Datagrip.

Saxo Bank

I was hired for CRM & API development. I got the responsibility for the GDPR implementation in their CRM systems, and the downstream systems getting data from their CRM system. I am also a key person for implementing their customer, corporate & IB renewal process. I help BA’s refine user stories, and make them ready for DEV. I decide on architecture for the software we are building. I am working with offshore teams both in Poland & India. We are currently porting the software from CRM 2016 -> D365 OnPrem, maturing it for the cloud.

Dasnke Bank

The task was to translate a critical loan system from an old, obsoleted platform to .NET. For this task, we developed a new GUI for the loan system, and we translated key components from the old code base to the new. To achieve this, we had to write our own code generator, and emit C# auto generated code for the parsed codebase. I worked with the loan team in the bank, and the offshore team in Latvia. I had lead responsibilities, and I also decided on the architecture. The project had been kickstarted 8 times before and had failed every time. We made it work, and the project ended as a great success.
